Polk County Early Childhood Iowa announces FY24 funding opportunity

The Polk County Early Childhood Iowa Board seeks applications for funding for FY24 (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024) from Polk County nonprofit organizations serving children prenatal through age five and their families.

Funding priority will be given to programs addressing access and equity for children from low-income families residing in Polk County. Board priorities are focused on five results areas: Healthy Children, Children Ready to Succeed in School, Safe and Supportive Communities, Secure and Nurturing Families, Secure and Nurturing Early Learning Environments. Award decisions will be made by June 30, 2023.

Deadline for application is Monday, February 27th at 5 p.m.

The Polk County Early Childhood Iowa Board is seeking applications for programs in Polk County focused on:

or

Grant applications may be for amounts of $1,000 up to $50,000.
